Having a GasSaver fitted to an Alpha Heating CD boiler is a simple way of taking energy efficiency to a higher level.

Positioned neatly above the boiler, this compact unit extracts heat from waste gases that are normally expelled into the atmosphere through the boiler flue. This is then used to pre-heat cold mains water before entering the boiler.

Alpha Heating GasSaver Connections GasSaver is easily installed between the boiler and flue, operating without the need for any controls, settings or maintenance. This innovative product also reduces instances of pluming, as gases exiting the flue terminal are significantly cooler, which in turn, saves energy and helps the environment.

How it works

First it stores the condensate normally expelled into the atmosphere through the boiler flue.
Then, heat from this condensate is recycled to pre-heat water coming into the boiler from the cold mains supply.
This significantly reduces the amount of gas required to heat the water by the boiler.
The amount of energy needed for the boiler to meet household demands is therefore reduced bringing lower energy bills and greater carbon savings.
